The GCSE is the national testing program for Secondary Schools included in the National Curriculum of England and Wales, normally occurring at the end of Year 11 (Key Stage 4). GCSE ICT involves learning about current and emerging technologies, software applications, hardware operations, operating systems, web-based information and applications, implications of ICT use, networks, manipulating and processing data, sequencing instructions, modelling situations, exploring ideas and communicating data, investigating ICT based solutions.  It is advised that GCSE ICT should only be taught by teachers experienced in the GCSE program.
