                                                Teachers:

TM2 is a teaching and learning platform designed to allow teachers with the experience, expertise, skills and or qualification to deliver quality online tuition in any one or more of hundreds of subjects to students of all ages and interests.

On TM2, the term "teacher" refers to anyone over the age of 18 who provides online learning instruction (Terms and Conditions clause 2.1.18).

A teacher may have up to 300 attendees in any one online session.  Each session lasts (by default) for 1.5 hours, with 65 sessions per month. There can be 25 two hour sessions in a month, and 10 sessions for up to 4 hours in a month.  The lesson times are also adjustable as required, with shorter periods of 15, 30, 45 minutes and 1 hour.

A teacher may teach classes in any one or more of five online possibilities. 1 on 1 tuition, Live classes,  Webinar and Interactive Webinars, and live streaming. Live Streaming is for online classes through FaceBook and YouTube. All five live possibilities are described in "How to Use TM2 as a Teacher" in the link provided below.

Subjects are placed either in school-based categories for primary school, secondary school, university, or college, or non-school based for languages, environmental issues, leisure and interest, occupations, and trades, other professional, and health and well-being. We have presented teaching opportunities for almost anyone who has the experience, skills, expertise, and knowledge in numerous wide-ranging subjects.

Intending teachers are invited to scroll through the hundreds of subjects, use our subject index page, or use our search options, to find a subject or subjects they have the necessary prerequisites to teach.

As a registered TM2 teacher, you can remain the "owner" of a subject for as long as you wish, and teach online classes as often as you want, and from anywhere the internet is available.  You can hold as many teaching sequences (ie number of consecutive online classes) for as long as you need. And you can then start another teaching session. and so on. (NB a teaching sequence is more than one online class). Or you can hold a series of stand-alone classes, each on a different learning topic.

We do ask you to notify us if you no longer wish to be a TM2 member. We will also close your account if there is no activity after one month, and re-advertise your subject, unless you provide us with notification giving reason why your teaching activity has ceased.

Online Teaching and Tuition Payments:

There is no charge for using the facilities of TM2 to set up and manage your online classes. You are also free to charge as much as you feel reasonable for your own tuition fee per student and to do so in your nominated currency. You can use the link  for the  Xe Currency converter which deals with live foreign currency exchange rates.

A student's payment for tuition includes all online classes and resources provided by you as you indicate in the price tag advertised  on your subject page. Your tuition fee can be for a one-off class or for a  set sequence or series of lessons in your subject in a teaching block. A teaching block contains at least 2 successive online lessons. You can conduct as many one-off classes, on different topics, or teaching blocks for your subject as you wish.

Student tuition fees go through the TM2 payment gateway into our trust account and are released to the teacher once their particular teaching sequence has concluded. The amount a teacher receives is minus  any student refunds, possible transaction fees and a 20 % commission paid to TM2 on the net amount ( gross amount minus deductions) For information on student refunds please visit student absences and refund policy

 Teacher Payment:

How and when do you get paid?  When you submit your teacher payment request you will be asked to provide either your PayPal account email address, or your bank account details, into which your tuition payment will be transferred on the completion of your particular lesson or lesson block. You will be paid within 24 hours from the time your teaching sequence has finished in your nominated currency.

To initiate tuition payment, registered TM2 teachers  go to "Teacher Payment" on the Home Page menu, and complete the required details.  Your payment will be sent to your PayPal or nominated bank account, minus transactions fees, any student refunds, and the 20% TM2 commission  on your net tuition fee. This is defined as follows:
Terms and Conditions clause 2.1.13 Net Tuition Fee refers to the advertised tuition fee, multiplied by the number of student payments, minus PayPal transaction fees, and any refunds paid to students enrolled in a class or classes for that teacher. TM2 receives 20% commission on the Net Tuition Fee.

Please read Section 10 of our Privacy Policy for more information.

Students:

Welcome:

TM2 welcomes and caters for the learning of students of all ages and backgrounds. On TM2, the term “student” refers to any person receiving online learning through our vast platform. With regard to our "Terms and Conditions" clause 2.1.17, a “student” on TeachMe2 can be a school aged child, a teenager, or someone of any age wanting to learn about a subject on TeachMe2. Students can therefore also be adult learners of any age.

Students may be at home, or at another suitable venue, and receive tuition via their computer from a qualified teacher in their area of need through a live stream broadcast or a webinar.

Equipment Requirements:

At a minimum students will need access to Wi-Fi, and a computer with a build in audio and webcam. Most modern computers already have these features.
To improve the quality of your online lesson you could even invest in headset with speaker phone, and a webcam. These devices plug directly into your computer.

Online Learning:

For primary, high school, college or university students' online instruction may involve learning a whole new topic, or could include exam preparation, revision of those difficult topics or concepts and even help with homework and assignments.

Learning is not just through online lessons. Your teacher is able to upload many learning materials to help you achieve your potential. You can access these materials at any time, simply by logging into your account, clicking on your subject, and then entering the subject's "Course Curriculum" page.  Students can complete online assignments, upload and download set-work, ask questions, and even learn through recorded webinars and podcasts when not live online.

In this sense, TM2 would be particularly suitable for students involved in home-schooling. For students engaged in non-school based and non-academic subjects such as languages, trades or professions, or leisure and interest areas, you too can use all the facilities available through TM2.

Students may communicate with their teacher through their subject's "discussion feed" if they have specific tuition needs in that subject. On the completion of a lesson, period of instruction or course, you can rate your teacher out of 5 stars, and provide feedback on the effectiveness of your received instruction.

For the complete guide to using TM2 as a student, first join TM2 and then go to:

Tuition Fee Payment:

To enrol in a subject a student must first pay the advertised subject tuition fee. Payment can be made through Paypal or through most debit or credit cars. Once payment is made, the student is automatically admitted to the "Curriculum Page" page for their subject, and the teacher is notified of their enrolment. The student can then commence their tuition according to the schedule set by the teacher.

The tuition fee for a subject is set by the teacher of that subject independently of the TM2 administration. The money you pay for enrolment in a teacher's online classes goes to the TM2 Trust account, and is not released to the teacher until the particular lesson or sequence of lessons for which the student pays is completed by the teacher.

All payments received by the TM2 trust account are for "Goods and Services".

If you are unable to attend an online class or classes for whatever reason, you may be entitled to a refund. Once registered with TM2, you can access the details on the page:

"How to Use TM2 as a Student".

Subject Help With TM2 and our Student Help Desk:

For whatever reason, if a student requires assistance in any subject, either through school-based reasons or subject interest, then that student can seek tutorial help through our "Student Help Desk". Simply click the link on the main menu, complete your details and submit the form to TM2. We will try to contact a suitable teacher to meet your tuition needs, and if you agree, your first name and tuition needs will be posted on our "Teachers Wanted" page. Any communication in this area is received by the administration of TM2 who then endeavour to find the most suitable teacher for the student’s area of concern or interest.  The TM2 Administration will then register the student who will then be able to receive tuition from that teacher.

Recapping the Main Points for Students:

To participate in online classes on TM2, a student must complete the following steps:

Step 1- Register as a student on TM2. This is completely free of any charge.
Step 2- Select a subject
Step 3- Enrol in that subject by paying the required tuition fee as advertised by the teacher on their subject page.
Step 4- Register for the online classes in that subject. This is fully explained in the "How to Use TM2 as a Student" link which becomes available once the student becomes registered with TM2.

Step 1 Registration:

Registration with TM2 is free of any cost or charge. A student may register with TM2 through:

-the direct registration option on the front page, "Become A Student on TM2".

OR

-if the subject and teacher is already known, through the “Book My Spot” button on the Home page, selecting  the "I need TM2 Student Registration" option and completing the required details.

OR

-by first registering their details through the "Student Help Desk" menu option on the Home page,

OR

through the "Upcoming Live Classes" option under "Live Classes" , choosing a class and clicking on the "Book My Spot" link, selecting the "I need TM2 Student Registration" option and completing the required details.

Once a student is registered with TM2, they are able to find detailed and specific information about how to use TM2 to achieve their maximum learning potential, please log onto the page:

"How to Use TM2 as a Student"

This link is also available through "About TM2" on the Home Page menu, and then "TM2 Student Use".

Once registered, a student can log into their student portal at any time to access all resources available on TM2. They can select a teacher, choose a subject or subjects to learn about, communicate with their teacher or teachers, enrol in a class where they can upload and download learning resources, assignments and so on.

TM2 Registered TM2 students receive a TM2 Student ID Tag, to help verify their identity.

Registration details for students under 15 years of age should be completed by a parent, guardian or carer of that student.

Step 2 Subject Selection:

If a student does not know their subject once they are registered, they can choose by selecting a subject category, and vetting the subjects in that category. They can also look at the upcoming live classes under the "Live Classes" menu option. Another option is to investigate and choose one of the subjects on offer under "Teachers Available" . If none of these options are suitable, a student can register their subject of interest with the "Students Help Desk" and we will advertise for a teacher of that subject.

Step 3 Subject Enrolment:

Students are required to pay the tuition fee advertised by their teacher in order to enrol in a class for the subject in which they wish to receive tuition. This tuition fee entitles the student to participate in all online classes included in the fee, and all learning resources prepared by the teacher of that subject for the online classes.

Step 4 Online Class Registration:

Students are able to register for any online class within a subject or subjects in which they have  enrolled. The registration process to attend an online class is described in "How to Use TM2 as a Student" which is available to all TM2 registered students.

Other Points:

Students should carefully consider time differences which may exist between where they live and the scheduled time of lessons when they choose a subject. If the teacher lives in a different time zone to you, then you will have to adjust the scheduled lesson time to coincide with your local time. Time Zones are prefaced by the initials UTC (Coordinated Universal Time). For example, if a teacher based in New York USA (UTC -4) schedules a lesson for 3 pm. This means an 8 pm lesson start for a student who is based in London UK (UTC +1). You can use the time zone converter page to help you work out time differences.

TM2 cannot guarantee that a teacher is available for any one of the hundreds of subjects listed on the site. If a teacher is not available for a particular subject selected by a student, TM2 will advertise through social media for an appropriate teacher of that subject, in our newsletter, or on our "Teachers Wanted" page.

Your Personal Data:
