The GCSE is the national testing program for Secondary Schools included in the National Curriculum of England and Wales, normally occurring at the end of Year 11 (Key Stage 4). GCSE Computer Science may involve students learning about basic programming, software use and development, algorithms and data structures, coding, compliers, interpreters, operating systems, information theory and the theory of computation. It is advised that GCSE Computer Science should only be taught by teachers experienced in the GCSE program.
