The GCSE is the national testing program for Secondary Schools included in the National Curriculum of England and Wales, normally occurring at the end of Year 11 ( Key Stage 4). GCSE Design and Technology may involve students learning in a number of focus areas including textiles, graphic products, food, wood, metal and plastic materials. Studies could include designing, making, testing, promoting, and advertising products in a range of contexts for human use and consumption. It is advised that GCSE Design and Technology should only be taught by teachers experienced in the GCSE program.
