Stage 4 secondary School Mathematics may involve students learning about positive, negative and irrational numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages, ratios, graphs, line, column, histogram, pie charts, discrete and continuous variables, Pythagoras’ theorem, solving algebraic equations, metric units, length, area, perimeter, volume and mass. geometric shapes including 3 dimensional objects, right angled, equilateral, isosceles and scalene triangles, angles and the 180 rule, co-ordinate geometry, trigonometry, financial mathematics, simple and compound interest, data collection, analysis, statistics and probability, calculus, differentiation and integration.
Stage 4 secondary school Mathematics is currently taught be Dr Jeff Sewell. Dr Sewell is a highly experienced teacher with many years teaching this subject.

I am a highly credentialled general Science, Math, Biology and Chemistry teacher with over 30 years of experience in teaching students from Year 7 to HSC and VCE, managing needs and skills at all ability levels. I am very passionate about my teaching, ensuring that my students are inspired through their learning and are given the means to achieve their very best. This has been demonstrated through my proven track record assisting with the transition students make from primary to secondary school and from secondary school to university.
