Project Based Learning
Secondary School

In Secondary School, Project, or Problem- Based Learning (PBL) usually involves students working collaboratively together to solve a real-life problem or complete a project. This teaching strategy involves the development of higher order thinking skills from surface thinking or straight knowledge recall.  Students can develop deep content knowledge as well as critical thinking skills through collaboration, creativity, and effective communication. Formative feedback throughout a project from both student peers and the teacher is a critical aspect of PBL.
