General Mathematics is a subject in the course for the Victorian Certificate of Education. As a subject of TM2, General Mathematics  may include  studies in a broad range of mathematical fields, including algebra, trigonometry, geometry, statistics, sequences, functions, and their graphs. It may also involve background knowledge of multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, and exponents. General Mathematics may also be suitable for Year 10 students who aim to continue studies in mathematics in Year 11.
